| In July 2013 Jody and Brent traveled to Peru to hike the Salkantay trek and visit Machu Pichu. Salkantay is a 20,000 ft peak near Machu Pichu, and the trek goes over a 15,200 ft pass below the peak. We first spent three days in Cusco, the ancient capital city. Then we hiked for 4 days, and spent the 5th day in Machu Pichu. Our trek was organized by Salkantay Trekking |
